The Health Benefits of Finding the Best Food Supplement

A food supplement can do wonders for your health and wellbeing. Many doctors are now recommending that people take a daily multivitamin food supplement to make sure that their body is getting everything it needs when it comes to nutrients.

The problem today is that many multivitamin food supplements contain ingredients and substances that you would not want to use if you knew what they were. A few examples are additives, preservatives and synthetic vitamins.

Synthetic vitamins are often claimed to be as effective as natural ones, but this couldn't be further from the truth. Humankind has not been able to make something better than nature does. The same applies to vitamins and nutrients.

Would you want to use a supplement that contains synthetic vitamins made in a laboratory? Or would you instead prefer to use herbal extracts and vitamins and minerals extracted from plants and other places in nature?

I prefer the latter, and many scientific studies have proven that the natural vitamins are much more powerful. They even have strong synergistic effects when blended together and used in the right quantities and qualities.

This means that you can blend vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, flavonoids, carotenoids, herbal extracts and specialty ingredients into the same supplement and it can actually increase the health benefits many times over.

Some of the health benefits that you can expect by using a cutting-edge multivitamin - and that I have experienced myself - are:

o A sense of improved wellbeing and happiness

Now, keep in mind that these health benefits do not occur with just any product. You have to be picky when it comes to picking the right supplement for your body and mind, because everything contains different ingredients in different qualities.

I have found through my research and personal experience that the more natural something is, the better it is. You may also have heard about food powders, but the problem with these are that you cannot use specialty ingredients in them because they are destroyed by your stomach acid.

This is why tablets are preferable if you really want to make a difference in your health. For example, ingredients such as resveratrol are very powerful, but they require enteric coating, which protects it from your stomach acid and delivers it to your body safely.
